CHILDREN
Bloom Therapy speech pathologists provide evidence-based early
childhood speech therapy intervention with person-centered values at the core of our practice. We believe whole heartedly in the importance
of collaboration between therapists, children, and their caregivers and through this approach we are able to gather valuable insight into a
child’s unique needs, preferences, and daily routines.
This collaborative process allows us to develop tailored therapeutic strategies that seamlessly integrate into the child’s life, fostering growth and development in a natural and holistic manner. Our therapists are proficient in the delivery of a variety of therapy approaches to target areas such as early language development, speech development, expressive and receptive language, literacy, social communication and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).
Our strong focus on collaboration with families and key stakeholders
allows us to create meaningful opportunities for children to build confidence, forge connections, and thrive socially.
Adolescents
Our speech pathologists understand that building trust with a young person or teenager is at the core of building an effective therapeutic relationship. Teenagers often face a variety of challenges during their early adult years, and it is important to sustain their confidence whilst we work on any challenges they may be experiencing in relation to their communication skills.
Through working on enhancing communication skills during adolescence, we are able to support teens to build their confidence, improve social interactions, and prepare for upcoming life transition points such as moving into higher education / training, or employment.
Our approach involves working with your child and yourself/your family, along with other important people in their lives such as teachers, therapists or anyone else you feel should be involved.
