Mind Body Spirit (MBS) is a group program developed by Bloom’s own speech pathologists and is targeted especially to women with the goal to improve social communication and engagement skills. This group will target these important skills while celebrating individuality and exploring the concepts of mind, body and spirit.
Throughout the block, participants will learn self care skills ranging from breathing techniques and yoga through to skin and hair hygiene routines. A highlight of this program is a private group visit to a local salon where participants are supported to request and select a hair style and learn practical haircare skills. Group members collaborate as a team to create an art piece and present their learnings at an end of block celebration.
