Role requirements:


  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, Speech Pathology Australia Membership (Certified Practicing Status) or AHPRA registration (Occupational Therapist)
  • Demonstrates knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic management options relevant to your discipline,
  • Demonstrates an understanding of general child development including communication, motor skills and play;
  • Proven organisational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision with a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrated by the ability to interact and negotiate with a wide range of people
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to contribute to the design and implementation of programs, therapy groups, training programs etc.
  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
  • Queensland Drivers license
  • A friendly and approachable disposition with the ability to quickly build rapport with clients, their families/carers, and colleagues.

  • We are currently seeking an experienced paediatric speech pathologist to join our team from October 2016. This is an exciting role based in our clinic in Upper Mt Gravatt.
  • We are on the lookout for a part-time (with potential to build caseload) occupational therapist to join our team of SLP’s and OT’s. Please email a one page cover letter and copy of your CV.
  • Student volunteer opportunities: Bloom’s SLP’s and OT’s facilitate several group therapy programs throughout the year.
