WHY DID YOU BECOME AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST?
I always knew I wanted to work in the health industry and work with people with disabilities. This interest came from family working in the industry as well as years of volunteering with a school holiday program for people with disabilities. Nursing was on the cards until a careers advisor introduced “occupational therapy” to me. I fell in love with the professional straight away and my love and passion continues to this day! I love how occupational therapy makes me think outside the box and I love helping people achieve their goals!
WHAT ARE YOUR PARTICULAR AREAS OF INTEREST?
Sensory processing, Autism, complex disabilities, toileting and self-care
Bloom had a massive appeal to me because it is full of like-minded therapists who have a passion for helping. Bloom also provides services across the lifespan, meaning there is opportunity to work with clients of all ages and abilities.

Hanging out with my spoodle, Poppy, and boyfriend Nigel, visiting my family in Victoria, travelling around the world and listening to podcasts. Every now and then I also try teaching myself something new – the most recent activity is sewing!
THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS…
Friends, family, food and the Eiffel Tower!
