When I was in grade 12, I decided that I wanted a career in the health industry. I came across the term ‘occupational therapy’ while I was perusing a careers guidebook; after this, I did some research and work experience to find out more. I found that occupational therapy was an extremely rewarding job as I would have the opportunity to help people do the things that mean the most to them, and truly make a difference in people’s lives.
Feeding, fine and gross motor difficulties, and attention/engagement.
Working so closely with speech pathologists is such a fantastic opportunity for me as an occupational therapist. Bloom is incredibly welcoming, has a fantastic team and is a really fun place to work!
My hobbies include horse riding, reading and cooking. When I’m not doing these in my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends.
Music, food, travelling and buying new books!
